Description: Using nature as your inspiration, create your own beautiful mosaic pictures or patterns using broken stained glass and glass blocks. The finished piece can be lit up naturally or illuminated internally. The first known mosaic art was found in a Mesopotamian temple dating back to 3,000 BC. Learn these traditional techniques while employing modern technology to create a finished mosaic keepsake:
Watch demonstrations and get one-on-one guidance to learn the techniques
Learn about color and composition in your artwork
Design your mosaic image and adhere the broken stained glass to a glass block
Grout your mosaic design and finish with grout sealer for a polished look
You’ll leave with a wonderful keepsake treasure or a unique gift to give. Use your beautiful block to hold dried or fresh cut flowers, or light it up!
