Fred Dingler and David Nemo: Town and Country
Fred Dingler
Fred has become a close friend of Zeller Studio through his participation in the WaterArt Group that meets monthly in the studio.
Fred tells us “For me, being an artist is not merely a chosen profession. It is a way of capturing and transcribing what I see in life so that others may enjoy it as well.
After graduating from The American Academy of Art in Chicago, I began my 40-year career as an advertising illustrator. In 2000, I started my fine art career to paint things that I found interesting with meaning and beauty. During my time as an illustrator, I had to paint all kinds of subjects. I feel all the different art techniques, mediums, and subject matters I was required to use enhanced my personal fine art style and prepared me to be a teacher of art as well.
I am a full-time painter of over 65 years and I continue to enjoy the challenges of creating art in watercolor, oil, acrylic, pencil, and pen and ink. I teach everly Wednesday in my home studio in Burnsville. Contact me at freddingler@gmail.com or call 952-890-3122. I am a signature member of the MN Watercolor Society.
Teaching.....Beginners though advanced welcome. Each student will be working on their own project in the medium of their choice. Work on a new project or one already in progress. I will help you develop your own style to become more confident in the medium of your choice. Bring your photographic references such as landscape, urban, or favorite photos from your travels. I also teach portrait paintings from photos. Mn River School, Bloomington Art Center, Savage Art Studios. I have given demos and workshops in Minnesota and Florida.”
