Join us in the studio to meet the artists, enjoy the artwork depicting Africa and participate in a AfroContigbo dance experience during this free event.

Participating artists include: Wendy Andersen, Sara Endalew, Lynne Gasterland, Georgia Kandiko, Barbara Lidfors, Love Quetee, Medowokpo Sabine, Rabi Sanfo, Joy Teah, Jim Turner and Deb Zeller.

As an extra special treat, we will have an AfroContigbo Danse and performance event with Korma Aguh-Stuckmayer’s dance team. Expect a vibrant fusion of West African traditional and contemporary dance. You’ll experience captivating rhythms, storytelling through movement and audience engagement that celebrates culture community and creativity. It’s a dynamic showcase of talent and tradition perfect for all ages. And the audience engagement dancing will continue as long as the tips come in, so please bring some $1 bills along with you for an ongoing experience.
