Allison says: As both artist and model, I’ve come to realize the importance of embodied practice in my work. Drawing is not merely a technical pursuit; it asks the whole self to participate. Seeing is not enough. The observer must feel, imitate, and relate to the model—until the body is no longer just seen, but understood by reflection.
What began as a mere side hustle became a quiet portal into something deeper. This exhibition gathers nearly all of my work to date, from my first studies in Florence to more recent pieces shaped by a deeper sense of presence. It is, in many ways, a record of becoming.
