Africa!

 In April of 2024, Deb and her husband Steve traveled to Africa.  It was a lifelong dream of hers to go on an African Safari.  The trip was originally scheduled for her 65th birthday, but COVID upended all the plans and reservations.  Once it was okay to travel again, new plans were made including good friends from Switzerland who had also had their Africa plans cancelled.  

With a lifetime of anticipation, the trip could have been a disappointment, but it exceeded all expectations!  They traveled to South Africa from it’s southernmost tip to the Inyati Game Refuge near Kruger National Park with a short trip into Zambia to see Victoria Falls.  Deb took over 4,000 photographs with some absolutely amazing photos of the Magnificent Seven on multiple safaris.  Deb spent the last year and a half painting from her photos, anticipating this exhibition.  

The Gallery holds a lot of paintings, so Deb put a call out to other artists to display their Africa themed work. Deb is excited to share these walls with old friends and new friends.
