Commissions

 
 

Convocation circle was commissioned in 2009 by Holy Family Catholic High School. The central bronze sculpture features two high school students presenting convocation.  Behind them is their patron saint, Saint John the Baptist de La Salle.  The pedestal and seating area is made of old world stone.  On each end of the seating area is a bronze chalice created by Steve Hemingway with blown glass flames that are lit from inside the chalices at night.

The Goddess of the Grapes was originally commissioned in 2014 by Kitchak Cellars in Napa Valley (shown on the right).


A second casting was installed at Parley Lake Winery in Waconia, MN in 2015 (shown on the left).


A third casting will be installed in front of Zeller Studio in May 2017.  She is traveling to various year-long sculpture exhibitions.  Her first year was spent on Hopkins Artstreet where she won the People’s Choice Award.  She currently resides with the Farmer’s Market in Hutchinson, MN on the Sculpture Stroll.

Pippin, a stylized bronze sculpture of the owners dog was a private commission in 2009.  A second casting was renamed Baying at the Moon and is permanently installed near the dog watering station in Lake Nakomis Park, Minneapolis, MN.  A third casting has travelled to numerous year long sculpture exhibitions and won Children’s Choice is Sioux City, IA.

The Police Memorial was commissioned in 2014 for the Hutchinson Law Enforcement Park.  The bronze sculpture casts a shadow, the SST portal casts the inverse of the officer’s shadow, representing how our police officer’s are ever diligent, 24 hours per day.  The landscape design and lighting was designed by Landscape Concepts, Inc.  The stamped concrete pad that the bronze officer walks on is the shape of an officer’s badge.

Doctor Remucal’s Portrait was commissioned in 2014 by Hutchinson Health to honor Doctor Remucal’s years of dedicated service.

The Corpus was commissioned in 2015 by St. Bernard Catholic Church in Cologne, MN.  The bronze figure is 6.5 feet tall. It is installed on a 14 foot tall steel cross between the church and the cemetery. St. Bernard welcomes the public to visit the sculpture.

The Victoria Centennial Sculpture was commissioned in 2015 by the City of Victoria Centennial Committee.   Shown at left is the maquette and at right is the sculpture installed at Steiger Lake Lane in Victoria, MN
